2015 continues to be interesting! I’m excited to announce two new roles that I will be playing in FUNimation‘s summer broadcast dub line up. First off, I am playing the sweet and naive Chiyo Kurihara in the show Prison School. The show is definitely full of laughs and awkward situations. It’s a little on the mature side though, so fair warning!
Chiyo Kurihara – Prison School
Next up, I play Beach Chevro in Sky Wizards Academy. This show is all about an academy who trains wizards to fight off creatures known as devil beetles. It’s a “harem” anime, but the characters are interesting and the art style is really cute! (Always a winning point for me!)
Both shows broadcast in English on Wednesdays as part of FUNimation’s dubbletalk block. If you want to see anime from Japan sooner, then this is a great way to do it!
Also I will be at Con+Alt+Delete near Chicago in December! I’m really excited to meet all of you in the Chicago area, and of course I will have my art prints, sketch cards, and comics to sell. Hopefully I will have more great news for you soon. Thanks for checking in!
Happy Friday morning everyone! It’s been a very busy summer so far, but busy in a good way! I have quite a few library visits lined up for you as well as some conventions! But first things first, bring on the cast announcement!
I am playing Yuriko in the new broadcast dub of Mikagura School Suite, which you can check out on Funimation.com. There is a new episode that airs every Tuesday.
Check out my convention schedule section to see what libraries and conventions I will be appearing at this summer. My next big convention is Tokyo in Tulsahappening July 17-19th. Hopefully I will see some familiar faces there, as well as maybe make some new friends! I hope everyone has a fun filled summer!
2015 continues to rock! I’m excited to announce that I will be playing the witch Vera in Maria the Virgin Witch, airing on Sundays on Funimation.com. It is another simulcast and is part of FUNimation’s broadcast dub initiative. This means the English dubbed versions of your favorite animes will get to you even sooner! The first two episodes are already available dubbed. What are you waiting for? Go watch!
Well boys and girls, 2015 has been extremely kind to me so far. I’m excited and proud to announce that I have been cast as Hinano Kurahashi in the highly anticipated anime, Assassination Classroom. This has been such a fun project to be a part of and I can’t wait for everyone to see it. The series will be broadcast dubbed and aired on FUNimation‘s website starting this Wednesday, February 18th at 8:00 PM EST.
I have updated my convention schedule for …oh my…2015?! What happened to 2014? It sure went by fast, but maybe that’s because I had a lot going on! I’m looking forward to 2015. My resolutions are to continue to improve my acting and drawing skills and I would love to book a convention outside of Texas. I adore my Texas cons, but I would also love to expand my fan base to some of the other fabulous states around here! What are your resolutions?
I will have some cast announcements soon (more bit parts) so stay tuned for those. My first event of the year is at the end of January and it’s for a band fundraiser in F airfield, TX. Then, I return to Tyler, TX for Bara No Toshi Con in mid- February. Not a bad way to start the year! See you around!
I admit I’m horrible at updating my site. I update my Facebook page more often because it’s easy to do from my phone wherever my busy life takes me! But, at least I have some good news for you!
I’m happy to report that I will be returning to Anime North Texas as a guest this year to impart more of my vast knowledge concerning manga and voice acting. (Okay, might want to subtract the vast knowledge regarding voice acting, I’m still learning a lot about that, hehe!) Hopefully I will see some of you there!
As far as cast announcement: Did you know that you can totally hear these vocal chords of mine in A Certain Magical Index Season 2? I’m an announcer at a sporting event and some girl with a star clip in her hair. And, true to the other characters I’ve played, she too has short brown hair. So, you should check it out, plus there are tons of other crazy talented people in the show as well!
Lastly, thanks to all of those who came to see me at AnimeFest! It was an absolute blast, plus I got like 200 street passes on my 3DS, score!
FUNimation has certainly been busy over the last year, and I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work on some of these new titles that you all have been hearing about.

1.) You can hear me as the female announcer in Haganai Nextin the 4th episode. I’m hosting a live action show at the theme park. This was actually my first role ever, and I was just so excited to be a part of everything. I think it shows in the character as well.
2.) Next I had the oppurtunity to play an AST solider in episode 6 “Hot Springs of Love” in Date A Live.I pop in and out of the episode a couple of times. It was such a fun anime to be in!
3.) My last announcement is for Ben-To. My role isn’t as big in this one, but you can hear me in the background a couple of times and I do get a good scream in as a high school girl.
That’s it for now, but who knows what the future holds? I can’t wait to invade your TV with my awesome vocal chords!

Can you believe 2013 is almost over? Where did the year go? It’s been a fantastic year for me with a lot of amazing opportunities. I’ve got to meet so many really cool people this year. It’s nice to connect with fellow anime/manga/all things geeky fans. By the way, did you know you can hear my vocal talent in the new Evangelion 3.33 movie? I’m one of the background voices when the ship is under attack. Look for my name in the credits at the end of the movie!
Also, I recently was asked to join a really cool group. The group is called “Voice Balloons Draw-ma Club” and it’s where voice actors and artists in the DFW area get together once a month and create art for charity. We sell our collaborative art pieces in charity auctions at conventions. The group currently comprises of Sonny Strait, Micah Solusod, Aphia Yu, Scott Freeman, Tia Ballard, Josh Grelle and myself. Soon we will have a Facebook page for our awesome group, so stay tuned for that information. In the meantime, if you are a convention that is having a charity auction and would like to include something from our group, please contact us!
So far for 2014 I am booked for Helio-Con on January 26th, Mini A-kon on February 22nd, and Project A-kon 25. I will also be doing a manga drawing workshop in Krum, TX on March 1st. If you are a library or a convention and are interested in booking me, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Right after Project A-kon I was given the exciting new opportunity to do something that I’ve always wanted to do – voice act. I’m happy and proud to announce that I have been voice acting for FUNimation, and I’m so incredibly grateful to them for this opportunity. I can’t talk about anything I’ve been in yet, but when I can I will definitely post about it along with links and the works. ^_^
In other news I have updated my appearance/convention schedule with two new events for this year. Check it out on my Convention Schedule page.
Wow, Project A-kon 24 was unbelievable! The convention was just huge but the best part was getting to see all of our fans and meet new people. I had a lot of people show up to the Draw Manga panel on Friday and I think it went pretty well. Hopefully it helped everyone who wants to make their own manga or comics one day. I had a great interview with The Nerd Show on Saturday and they recorded it and graciously let me upload the video to my own YouTube channel.
The Gaming With the Stars Charity Event turned out awesome and I just want to thank everyone who paid to play for charity. I had so much fun playing Soul Calibur V. Some of you are so good! I’m just a button masher at heart. I did win the charity event which means that all the money raised for the whole night was donated to the American Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the table and bought a comic or print. Check out my convention schedule to see where I’ll turn up next!
